Why a blog?
I have thought about writing a memoir for years, but it wasn't until this year that I realized it would be a memoir on grace. And rather than just thinking about it, or sharing stories only with besties, I'm documenting them right here. These vignettes of my life are held together by the common thread of grace. I'm excited to share with you all the ups and downs—and the reality of the eternal up that's guaranteed for us in Christ.
My notes on grace won't always be happy or even grateful, but I know I am a work in progress and God has got me no matter what. He sheds light into total darkness, continually refining us on this glorious adventure called life. I believe we are called to be a light to others, so that they, too, may know His glory.
Every so often, I'll also be sharing with you the stories of other women—stories of trials and pain, of great joy and hope. None of us is perfect, but we can lift each other up through our vulnerability in revealing our flaws. The Lord has given these women great courage to do just that, and I'm thankful for their sweet hearts for Jesus.
If you have a story to tell—or just want a listening ear—shoot me an email. I'd love to hear from you.
